We are finding this book funny because of the speech language used. We had a good discussion about the values of picking money over friendship. We dislike the character Leroy as we think he is pressuring and a bit of a bully.
I really liked this book because i love watching rap battles
It is very boring to me. I read the first chapters and I did not like it. Sorry to those who do like it.
I really love Kofi and the summer rap battle. The character of Kofi is very funny and really fits the plot. The book has a lot of positives for example, a lot of people love rap music including me. The plot was great and I liked that the story was about the 90's. The way that the book was written is good since there is a lot of slang and it is different to other books which made me interested in this book. This has helped me learn new words from English and I get to learn things about the 90's.
I really liked this book because of how they have used the slang languages and how silly kofi is. even if people don't like rap battles, there is lots of other things that people might enjoy. I really like when the siblings fight and quickly works together and try to help each other.
Overall I think this book is amazing because it is funny story for children and even for adults. The story is set in the 90s.Kofi in a young boy who is always getting introuble.
