Child cycle training

Child cycle training is delivered primarily in schools, via the Bikeability programme.  Please enquire with the school directly.

Child cycle lessons - free programme

Supported by Active Travel Fund, Coventry City Council is providing free child cycling lessons from Friday 10 January. Sessions are streamed by age rather than ability, but are aimed at young beginners or children wanting to improve their skills and confidence, rather than existing experienced child cyclists. Booking is required.  We recommend 3-4 sessions to get the most out of the training, and each session must be booked separately.

Age ranges available:

  • Age 2-5 – sorry, we're fully booked!
  • Age 6-10 – sorry, we're fully booked!
  • Age 11-16

All age ranges are inclusive.

Sessions take place on Saturdays at Caludon Sports Centre (training provided by Bike for Life) and on Fridays in the Sports Hall at Meadow Park School (training provided by Cycle Infinity).

Check availability and book.
