Where to ride in Coventry

Why not try one of our segregated cycleways [https://www.coventry.gov.uk/cycling-1/segregated-cycleways] to see where they can take you?  These routes provide a dedicated space for cyclists to ride, with junctions designed to give priority to people on bikes over other road traffic.  Find out more about segregated cycleways in Coventry. [https://www.coventry.gov.uk/cycling-1/segregated-cycleways]

We also have a network of secondary cycle routes city-wide [http://www.coventry.gov.uk/cycling-1/cycle-coventry-maps].  These are a mixture of traffic-free paths and quieter streets with low volumes of traffic and complement our segregated cycleways.  Find out more about other cycle routes in Coventry. Riding for leisure

Taking the family out on a bike ride is a great way to get some fresh air, exercise and a dose of feel-good!

Share with care

Some cycle paths are shared with other users. Don't forget to:

  • give way to pedestrians, wheelchair users and horse riders, making sure you give them plenty of room
  • keep to your side of any dividing line
  • be prepared to slow down and stop if necessary
  • do not expect to cycle at high speeds

You should only cycle on pavements where signs show it is allowed.
