Unattended direct cremation service

The direct cremation - unattended service is a service supplied for families who wish to arrange a simple cremation without attending the funeral.

The direct cremation will be arranged by your selected Funeral Director who will complete all of the required documentation and on the day transport your loved one to the crematorium without attendance by family or friends at a time pre-arranged with ourselves. After the cremation has taken place the Funeral Director will collect the ashes on your behalf and return them to you. 

Attended direct cremation service

The attended direct cremation service is arranged and coordinated the same as the direct cremation. 

With this service family members and friends who wish to have the opportunity to say a more formal goodbye can attend the crematorium chapel as a final farewell. The attended service is a booking for a maximum of 15 minutes. A total of 12 people can attend and enter the chapel. You can be seated for approximately 5-10 minutes in quiet contemplation and reflection. Music can be selected as you go into the chapel and as you leave, however there is no provision for a service to take place or for any type of reading or eulogy to be spoken. Your Funeral Director will be in attendance and guide you and ensure the curtains are closed at the appropriate time. Again your Funeral Director will collect the ashes from the crematorium on your behalf.
