Cllr Jim O’Boyle: Good evening, I’m Cllr Jim O’Boyle from Coventry City Council. I’m here with my colleague Cllr Patricia Hetherton. We’re just here at Greyfriars Green. There’s these new lights that are here. Patricia, tell me all about them.
Cllr Patricia Hetherton: Well Jim, we’re here in the rain and we’re seeing for the first time all the lights that are switched on. Actually if you walk from the railway station behind us it lights up the way, different colours like a rainbow effect, taking you all the way round to the Bull Yard and into the city centre. It’s absolutely lovely. We were looking forward to seeing this. Now we’re here and the lights are switched on it’s absolutely beautiful. So just say to everybody come and have a look because it is absolutely fantastic.
Cllr O’Boyle: Thank you Patricia. Another part of the regeneration of Coventry city centre has now finished. This morning we were talking about Bull Yard. So, this goes all the way from the Coventry railway station 82 million pounds of regeneration making it one of the finest stations in the region indeed anywhere in the country, all the way through to the Bull Yard. Part of that has now finished. So, really good news in time for Christmas. Just finally to say Me and Patricia to wish you all a very merry Christmas.
