How to use the HAF Eligibility Check Registration form - Video and audio transcripts

In this video I'm going to show you how to check whether a child or young person is eligible for a free holiday club place funded by the Coventry HAF programme. When you have a booking for a child or young person and you need to know whether that child is eligible for the programme open up the online form and click 'Next'. First fill in your details as the holiday club leader and select the club that you're registering for today.

Click 'Add child' to add the details of the first child you are looking to check eligibility for and register with the programme today.

When adding contact details an email address is preferred but if that's not available please provide a mobile telephone number.

When you are satisfied with the information that you have entered, select the sessions that that child or young person has booked to attend and click 'Check child's details'.

In this case, the child's eligibility has been verified, they are accessing free school meals and the system has confirmed that they have remaining hours within their 64 hour HAF allowance to book a funded place at your holiday club for the number of sessions indicated above please click 'Add child' to add them to your list of children that you are submitting for registration today and then go on to add the next.

In this case although the child's eligibility has been verified the system has also indicated that they do not have enough hours available within their HAF allowance to book the sessions indicated. You can either, adjust their registration to reflect fewer hours or, if you believe that this may be an error, click 'Add child' and the system will submit the registration for a manual check by one of the HAF team.

If for any reason the information is incomplete you can write 'unavailable'.

And when you click 'Check child's details' in this case the message displayed will indicate that it hasn't been possible to verify the child's details on the basis of the information provided. In this case click 'Add child' and the registration will be submitted for a manual check by one of the HAF team.

When you have added all the children you are adding today please click 'Submit'.

You will then receive an email summarising your submission.

If there are any children on your form where the details were not automatically verified you will receive an email updating you on the status of these bookings within three working days.
