Our Chief Executive encourages you to have your say on the One Coventry Plan - Video and audio transcripts

I just wanted to talk to you very briefly about the refreshed One Coventry Plan. Now the focus of the plan, which is really important, is to work with communities, our communities and residents to ensure that we're doing everything we possibly can to improve the lives of those who live, work and study in our city. But like all plans, we must 
make sure that we're focusing on key priorities and we have three. The first one is to improve the outcomes and tackle inequalities for people and the communities of our city. Number two we want to increase the prosperity for those who live and work in our city and thirdly and finally we want to tackle the causes but also the consequences of climate change. Now we really want to encourage everybody to get involved and have their say on this focus on these priorities because we want to make sure that they're right and they're right for you. So your views on this won't be ignored they're really important because it's only with you that we can really make sure that we're delivering the opportunities through One Coventry Plan. So get involved, have your say. There's plenty of opportunities whichever works for you. So for example we've got a video which explains, quite visually actually,  some of these priorities. Why it's really important that we have this one coventry plan refresh there'll be a survey, it'll be very short, but this is your opportunity to give us some of your views and if you want to as well there'll be a series of workshops where, come along, maybe in more detail and share your views maybe chat to officer 
colleagues as well about what we've got planned.  So we really really want to hear what you think and we will listen and we will shape and please tell everybody else in your families, your communities, your networks, your organizations to also have their say too because actually with that we can make sure we shape the One Coventry Plan for delivery to yes hit some of those challenges head-on that we face but perhaps, more importantly, to grasp all those opportunities in front of us as a city.
