Hello my name is Umila Prajapati, also known as Millie and I’ve been nominated to be a baton bearer for Coventry. To be chosen as a baton bearer is really exciting it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and it's a great privilege to be taking part as a baton bearer for the Commonwealth Games. Well as a child I’ve always been into my fitness and then with family everything comes to a halt but last year after doing many many marathons I thought I’d take on a new challenge of hanging up my running shoes and taking up cycling and I decided to cycle Land's End to John O’Groats over 14 days which was absolutely amazing raising over seven and a half thousand pounds for a charity in India. It's an icamp that I wanted to donate to and I mean it's absolutely fantastic I loved the challenge and yeah and here I am today.
