Hi, my name is Sarah Phipps and I've been chosen to be a baton bearer for coventry. I'm completely overwhelmed and honoured it's an absolute privilege to represent this fantastic city. So I started off by starting a park run in Bedworth and I've been the event director of that for a few years now and then whilst out training for an ironman earlier last year I was knocked off my bike and suffered terrible injuries that I've only just come back from and but through all that I continued to turn up to Bedworth and volunteer and keep everybody active and smiling and healthy.
