Being part of the baton relay is fantastic for Coventry. We've got a number of events the city we come to the end of the City of Culture we've got the Baton Relay, we've got the International Children's Games, Rugby League World Cup and I've been delighted to meet two of the Coventry runners this morning - Sarah and Millie and they are absolutely delighted that they have been picked and I'm delighted that Coventry has been picked is something that we've been working on. The 21 July promises to be a wonderful and memorable day for everyone in Coventry and I expect especially if it's a lovely day unlike today that we will have large numbers of people that join us on the street both for the relay itself and for what will come afterwards.
