Clubs across the city to receive new cricket equipment - Video and audio transcripts

I'm Councillor Kamran Khan, cabinet member for public health and sport. Today I'm with Dave a very very good and kind Coventarian who's been really really um supporting many communities with the power of cricket in within the communities. I think it's absolutely brilliant that the ECB once again have accepted our request to work with us and they are going to give us a significant amount of equipment that we'll be getting out to the community. I'm pleased and hopefully Dave can say a few words about some of the equipment that he'll receive and what you see he'll be putting it to. I'm David Robinson I'm the chairman of the Coventry and North Warwickshire Cricket Club. This is going to be fantastic for the Coventry area, the community a number of cricket clubs are going to benefit from this equipment which is going out to them. It's much needed on my own club Coventry we've got a great scheme running through the Allen Higgs Centre so it's an inner city cricket scheme to try and get more youngsters to play cricket and stuff like this can only only help so thanks very much to Councillor Khan here to the ECB and the Warwickshire Cricket Board for inviting me to come and receive this equipment on behalf of Coventry community it's fantastic thank you.
