How to join a Breakout room using a tablet or smartphone - Video and audio transcripts

In this video we're going to show you the very easy process of joining a breakout room within a Microsoft Teams meeting using a tablet or smartphone. A breakout room is a separate virtual room within your main virtual meeting. If you haven't already you will need to install the Microsoft Teams app - a setup video guide can be found in the description of this video. To join a Microsoft Teams meeting you will need to find the meeting invite within your email app.

Once you have selected the meeting link you will be taken to the teams app where you can join as a guest. You will then be taken to a lobby which will look like a standard teams call. Once the organizers have set up and started the breakout rooms you will automatically join your respected breakout room and that's it. Once the organizer has signalled the end of the meeting or session you can hang up using the red hang up button.
