Hi everyone can you remember just recently we read a story called troll stinks and it was about two billy goats and it had a troll in it as well so today we thought we'd have a go at making our own troll mask.

So let's have a go.

So now we've got our paper plate and we need to make the eye holes first so I measured between my eyes and it was about six centimetres so I'm going to make two marks six centimetres apart and that's where my eye holes are going to go so I'm just going to draw in some eyes and then I'm ready to actually draw our monster face or troll face so I'm copying from the picture in our book and I'm making his eyes nice and dark but if you wanted to do to do something different you could make your own monster face whatever you wanted it to look like.

So once we've got our monster face all drawn in we can start to think about colouring him in.

And then once he's all coloured in we need to cut out the eye holes and again you might need an adult to help you with this with the scissors once we've got the eye holes cut out I'm going to make some ears for our troll and then once I've cut the ears out I'm going to make some strips because I think I'm going to do some troll hair as well so I've got lots of strips and then I'm going to cut them into much thinner strips ready to decorate my face.

And just put my ears on as well.

And then I can carry on with the hair and now I've got all the hair and these whiskers on now all I need to do is to find a pencil or a lolly stick or anything you can find really and we'll just tape it on the back to hold our mask.

And there he is our scary troll so I hope you've enjoyed our activity today and we'll see you again soon bye.
