Educ8 provide independent Alternative Education schools across England to support learners at risk of exclusion, or who are disengaged from mainstream education.
Initially formed in Leicester in 2009 by Jevon Payne and Tim Warner, Educ8 Leicester provided a single vocational sports programme as a part time alternative provision. Educ8 has since become a national independent provider that has developed its vocational offer to include 9 vocational programmes delivering in 4 geographical locations.

Educ8 will be delivering a full curriculum to all learners which will be a total of 4 qualifications upon completion of the course. Learners will need to attend two days a week in order to obtain the qualifications.
All learners will need to attend one vocational day from Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
In addition to this one core day will also need to be selected from Tuesday or Thursday.
(All Educ8 provision is a minimum of two days).
The curriculum will include:
English, Maths and Science
Physical Education
A chosen vocation (Health and Social Care)
Topic learning (Black History Month, Holocaust, Faith and Religion, British Government and Politics, Protective Characteristics and one local topic)
Learners will explore the various industries and sectors associated with the Health and Social care profession, through their first unit finding out about health and social care services. Through immersion in practical projects with focuses on the day to day activities they may find themselves carrying out in such sectors including providing activities and supporting others.
Essential skills such as communication and interaction with patients are key to a successful career in Health and Social care, learners will develop these alongside modules which teach them about the practical tasks they may find themselves carrying out in the field such as measuring older adults fitness levels and supporting patients to use adaptive tools safely. - Qualification (If Applicable)
