The Training Initiative develop and deliver a range of bespoke learning solutions for students, education institutes and employers across the UK.
We are proud to have engaged with over 2,000 students through our innovative programmes "Street First Aid , Motiv8 and WorkFit workshops for young people to support re-engagement in education. We deliver high quality CEIAG that enables young people to develop crucial key employability skills, vital for an ever-changing world and the challenges they face.
The Training Initiative create truly bespoke education experiences to support development, social mobility and inclusion.
Street Aid... Taking the principles of Emergency First Aid, we make them relevant to the type of injuries that might be a result of conflict on the street. We cover gun shot and knife wounds, acid attacks and other injuries that may be encountered. We show individuals how they can use what's on/near to them to help preserve life in the absence of a first aid kit. Street Aid is a modularised programme that acknowledges the issues youngsters face and prepares them to respond to difficult situations in a pro-active way to safeguard themselves and others. Our series of interactive series of workshops confront the growing levels of violence within our society and include: Resilience, Consequential Thinking Skills, Conflict Resolution, Cut It Out. Motiv8... Encourages open dialogue about the key issues facing young people and supports them in safeguarding themselves and others. These practical workshops breakdown barriers and explore strategies that directly enable young people to not only overcome the challenges they encounter but lay the foundations for them to thrive; workshops include: Sexual Health, Mental Health, County Lines, Social Media Safety, Healthily Relationships. WorkFit... WorkFit compromises of a series of employment-themed workshops designed to prepare for life beyond the school gates. Focussed on developing core employability skills , along with putting effective personal preparation and planning in place.; workshops include: Interview skills, post-school pathways, skills for employability, digital footprint.
