Fresh Start In Education LTD
We provide an interim engagement and education service designed to help students that are struggling with or out of education for any reason. Our plan is always to get them back into a formal education setting as soon as they are able, and to remain and be successful at this, having worked with over 1000 students.
Many of the students that we work with have complex needs ranging from Autism to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. Our staff have experience in working with these difficulties and making extraordinary progress with students who have been unable to integrate into any formal setting.
The ASDAN PSHE programme has been updated to help young people meet the requirements of the new statutory guidance for sex, relationships, and health education in England, which came into effect in September 2020. The programme is focused on supporting young people, mainly aged between 13 and 16, to develop skills from a choice of modules and challenges that are relevant to meet their individual needs.
Multi-level challenges are divided into 11 modules and are implemented within the 6- or 12-week programme to increase awareness and improve social interaction and core skills.
Skills development will include:

Literacy and Numeracy
One or several modules can be selected by the young person to engage in, covering topics that includes:

Respectful Relationships
Families and Parenting
Financial Choices
Careers and your Future
Living in Modern Britain
