Course Aim

  Using real examples, this course takes you through the principles of effective assessments and how they relate to your everyday work as an OT. You will understand the importance of:

• defining your purpose;
• organising your evidence;
• thinking and structure; and
• writing analytically.

We will also highlight the seven deadly sins of assessments and show you how to avoid them.

• plan your assessments effectively and save time; 
• understand analysis; 
• summarise your findings effectively; 
• make your assessments easy to read and follow; and 
• crack the facts-analysis-judgement approach.
