MW Impact
At MW Impact, we have one aim - to impact the lives of children & young people by addressing the challenging topics they all now face in today's society. With our diverse community, we deliver a range of mentoring methods proven to motivate, uplift and change lives across the UK.
MW Impact prides itself on being a health and wellbeing company based in the West Midlands, specialising in mentoring children and young people, addressing issues which affect emotional, mental, physical and behavioural wellbeing. We are a ‘movement’ which seeks to make a positive impact on local communities and the future direction of the lives of children and young people. MW’s aim is to ensure that every individual that we encounter will be physically, mentally, and emotionally stimulated with the aim of either improving or maintaining their overall quality of life, therefore leaving a monumental positive impact.
It is paramount that the children and young people of today are given support and direction in life. Our team have experienced how bad decisions in education can escalate you onto the wrong path.
At MW Impact, we fully believe that it’s never too late to change, you just need the power to believe in your potential. And that’s what we are here for, delivering proven effective mentoring workshops to unwrap children’s potential
Nutrition is one of the most undervalued aspects of health and well-being in society. Poor nutrition is one of the leading causes of obesity and medical conditions such as hypertension, coronary heart disease and diabetes alongside rationale for poor performance in lessons for young people. This then contributes to poor concentration and application to work. MW Impact recognises this issue and puts a large emphasis on increasing awareness and acknowledgment amongst the community. With a balanced diet through healthy meal planning and preparing YP can come together at mealtimes.
We address the following issues:
Importance of balanced diet
Common causes of obesity
Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Uses of nutrition within sport
Consequences of poor nutrition (diabetes, lack of energy, lack of concentration etc.
