Warwickshire Institute of Sports focuses on providing a learning experience that inspires every young person to pursue their aspirations. From the fully committed elite student-athlete to the young person looking to reintegrate into education and sport activities. We are TASS accredited with Talented Athlete coordinators who look at the balance of high performance sport development and sport for the students looking to follow sports or sports related careers. We also support students who just enjoy sport and this can be used to engage them in wider learning/education.
We inspire students to achieve their potential “Aspire2be”.
Our alternative provision offering includes performance sports provision across multiple sports (football, athletics, boxing and many other sports) specialising in re-engaging young people who may have struggled to adapt in mainstream education. We may also uniquely be able to provide some additional Esports enrichment for students where appropriate.
As well as allowing young people to develop confidence, self-esteem and wellbeing we can provide qualifications, core curriculum (Maths and English) and sports performance or engagement in healthy activities
The programme provides a pathway to further qualifications and roles in sports industries including Football, Athletics, Swimming, Boxing and many other sports or routes into further education, higher education and full-time employment. - Provider Contact
