TCES National Online School
TCES National Online School (NOS) is an online school providing specialist therapeutic education for young people with complex needs. We were the first (currently only) specialist online school in the entire country to be accredited by the Department for Education Online Education Accreditation Scheme (OEAS). Students with NOS are able to access a full curriculum alongside a Universal and Targeted therapy offer, as well as all the enrichment opportunities expected of a 'traditional' school setting, including group assemblies, extracurricular offerings and student clubs.
NOS is part of the TCES Group. TCES is a family-owned Social Enterprise offering schools and services for some of the most complex students in the country since 1999. In 25 years we have never permanently excluded any child. Not one. We never give up.
TCES National Online School (NOS) provides access to a full-time timetable for every child in small group classes. Every timetable is bespoke so if a student is unable to engage with the full-time, small-group timetable we can offer a reduced programme tailored to every child based on the initial induction call and baseline assessments.
The NOS curriculum includes Maths, English, Science (we even offer at-home practical science experiments), LIFE (humanities, leadership, PSHE and important life skills) and the unique RISE psychoeducation curriculum. All students also receive Universal and Targeted therapy provided by a specialist clinical team across OT, SaLT and psychotherapy.
We also offer project-based learning for longer-term students once the RISE syllabus is completed. These are student-led learning opportunities with real-life, practical outcomes. Extracurricular clubs are included, and even PE is available online!
