Training Provider
Bright Outcomes
Bright Outcomes Ltd provides a unique, home-based alternative provision for young people unable to attend school due to EBSA, SEND, or Mental Health difficulties. We focus on academic progress, community inclusion, and employment preparation, with support from qualified teachers and experienced mentors to ensure each student’s progression. Our aim is to be the bridge back to education, not the final destination—equipping students with the academic skills, confidence, and independence they need to return to school and succeed.
This course is delivered in the home to students who are unable to attend on site provision. This comprehensive course is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in health and social care. It provides a solid foundation in key concepts, practices, and skills essential for success in the sector. Key topics include:
• Understanding Human Growth and Development: Exploring the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development stages across the lifespan and their implications for care.
• Health and Social Care Values: Examining the core values that underpin effective care, such as dignity, respect, and confidentiality, and how to apply these in practice.
• Effective Communication Skills: Developing the ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues in a variety of care settings.
• Promoting Healthy Living: Learning about the factors that influence health and wellbeing and strategies for promoting a healthy lifestyle within the community.
• Introduction to Health and Social Care Settings: Gaining insight into various roles within the health and social care sector and understanding the principles of effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Safeguarding and Protection: Understanding the importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals, including recognizing signs of abuse and knowing how to respond appropriately.
The course combines theoretical learning with practical experiences, delivered by qualified teachers and experienced mentors, ensuring students gain both the knowledge and skills necessary for further study or entry-level positions in health and social care.
By the end of the course, students will be well-prepared to make informed contributions to the wellbeing of individuals and communities.
