How we track down fly-tippers - Video and audio transcripts

Ever wondered how we track down people who fly-tip? 

When we collect the fly-tipped waste, we look for any evidence of who might have left it behind. 

We'll review CCTV footage and we might even ask for your help in identifying the culprit in one of our Wall of Shame videos. 

If we get a tip-off or we've found our fly-tipper, we'll visit their address and deliver them with a Fixed Penalty Notice with a fine of up to £1,000. For bigger fly-tips or where someone's a repeat offender, we'll also look to prosecute them through the Courts system.
