Get Game Ready CIC
Get Game Ready (GGR) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the wellbeing and life outcomes of people in our communities. Offering counselling and personal development, youth programs, alternative provisions and inclusion football, GGR specialises in supporting people.
GGR currently offers three services :
SIFA (School Inclusion Football Association)
Our SIFA Personal Development Centre (Alternative Provision) - A centre that uses football as a vehicle for driving development and growth for young people that maybe considered "not ready to learn", are not attending school or who are on the cusp of exclusion. By combining tailored football programs, tutoring, and counselling with our life preparation model we aim to facilitate positive change in the lives of the young people that attend.
SIFA also offers midland wide school inclusion football tournaments, catering for children that struggle to access the game they love for reasons such as neurodiversity, semh and physical differences, and fantastic pathways into clubs, careers, coaching, refereeing and a 16-18 program.
ADAPT
ADAPT is an out of school, survival and wellbeing focused, personal development, youth club for children aged 7-11. We will also be opening an ADAPT PDC for 2026.
Counselling and Personal Development
1-2-1 Sessions for people aged 12 and above. Working therapeutically we aim to support, facilitate growth, change and development.
The Life Preparation Model
Our unique model, underpins all our programs. This model focuses on six essential areas: Life Skills, Life Experience, Survival Fit, Needs, Support & Attitudes, and Knowledge of the World. It is the blue print for creating a therapeutic environment, that addresses each child's individual needs and equips them to thrive both in school and beyond.
We work closely with schools and other centres to support children who are neuro-diverse, at risk, or facing social, emotional and mental health challenges. Our collaborative approach empowers young people to overcome barriers, develop protective factors and achieve their full potential, making us a trusted partner for schools seeking impactful, long-term solutions.
This course is a dynamic, football-based personal development program designed to help participants build protective factors, emotional intelligence and improve life outcomes.
Using the SIFA Life Preparation Model, the course fosters skills, knowledge, experiences and attitudes essential for thriving in both sports and life. While football serves as the engaging vehicle, the program offers counselling, tutoring, and pathway opportunities, ensuring that participants develop a sense of belonging, life skills, confidence, and adaptability.
