Getting to Friargate
On foot
One Friargate is located approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Bull Yard in Coventry city centre, or 5 minutes at a fast-walking speed.
By bike
You can use the West Midlands cycle hire scheme to reach and leave Friargate by bike. There are 21 docking points located across the road on the other side of the pedestrian crossing.
By train
One Friargate is located close to Coventry train station, which has links to local stations such as Rugby, Leamington Spa and Birmingham New Street. Reaching the entrance to Friargate from the station takes approximately 2-3 minutes on foot.
Coventry Station offers step-free access to all platforms and wheelchair spaces are provided on trains.
By bus
Friargate is linked to bus services from across the city and is served by accessible low-floor buses, which stop at the Station Interchange nearby. The nearest bus stops are located at this interchange, between the Central 6 retail park and the railway station.

By car or motorbike
The nearest council car park is Coventry Railway Station (access from Eaton Road). This car park does not accept cash and is open 24 hours a day. There is no charge for Blue Badge holders and there are 35 disabled parking spaces on Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Blue Badge Holders use the buzzer on exit to give details of their blue badge.
One Friargate also has dedicated parking spaces available for staff who as part of a blue badge or reasonable adjustment have access to park in the lower basement car park. Motorcycle parking is available 5 minutes’ walk away on Warwick Row.
Park and Ride
A Park and Ride service operates from the Kenilworth Road car park at War Memorial Park. Parking costs £1 in addition to the fare for travel on the bus. You must request a discount parking ticket on board.
There are three payment stations situated in the Kenilworth Road car park for payment before exit. The payment stations are cashless payments only. Contactless payment is accepted. To pay for your parking, scan the original ticket followed by the discount ticket.
Park and Ride is also available at Coventry Arena Station. Rail passengers can use Arena car parks A & B. Rail parking costs £2.50 per day. If you are paying on the day you need to pay on foot at a pay machine and enter the discount code - 6459.
