The ordinary election for Radford Ward on 2 May 2024 was postponed due to the sad death of one of the candidates Dave Anderson. This resulted in the election being postponed and held on 20 June 2024 for a City Councillor for Radford Ward.

Voter ID Statistics - 20 June 2024 Radford Ward

From May 2023, anyone voting in a polling station must present a valid form of photo ID [https://www.coventry.gov.uk/voterid]. This new requirement was introduced by the government through the Elections Act 2022.

The Electoral Commission [https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/voter-id] are responsible for reviewing the implementation of voter ID. After the 4 May elections we provided the Electoral Commission with information about how it was introduced in the City of Coventry, and they produced national figures which can be found on their website.

Although not required for other elections we have collected the voter ID statistics for the election held on Thursday 20 June 2024 which are listed below.

Our data
