Our partners

At the Job Shop we work collaboratively with a range of partner organisations. We strongly believe working in partnership will enable local people to achieve more and be able to access more opportunities.

We have an excellent reputation for delivery

At Coventry’s Job Shop a number of partners, with a similar objective to place adults and young people into employment and training opportunities, have come together to deliver an integrated employment service for Coventry residents. By working together we have ensured that our respected service has seen unprecedented demand from people looking for training and employment, achieving excellent results for Coventry residents and employers.

Our UKSPF Project partnership includes:

Voluntary Action Coventry

Who work to influence change and innovation in systems and services locally, to shape a more fair and equal future and improve people's lives. They encourage resilience in communities, by supporting people to build their personal capacity, and enabling them to do more for themselves.

Their Improving Lives course is for anyone aged 18 years and over who wants to know more about volunteering opportunities in Coventry and have a go at some volunteering activities to increase their confidence and well-being. The Improving Lives course consists of 12 structured sessions of engaging activities, discussions, visits and support that take place twice a week.  Additionally, participants can access to one-to-one support and guidance to help them with volunteering or employment barriers.

The aim is to support participants to focus on their futures and realise their potential, improving confidence in their own skills and abilities and what they have to offer, and to learn about and practice elements necessary for finding, applying for and securing volunteer or work roles.

We are passionate about the voluntary and community sector and the role that volunteering plays in enhancing individuals and communities.
