The Festival of Christmas will feature a trail of festivities in locations around the city centre on Wednesday 20 November.
The city centre will be spilling with festive spirit as it also marks the beginning of late-night shopping in the city.
Enjoy everything from fire dancing shows to Spark! the marching, illuminated drummers, and everything in between, including:

- LED hula hooping
- Christmas comedy show
- Aerial dancer
- Storytelling with Santa
- Bouncing elves
- Larger than live lampposts
- Christmas Time Travellers
- Life-size snow globe
- Polar bears Pip and Inka
The performances and entertainment will be spread across some of the city centre’s hot spots like Broadgate and Millennium Place. Make sure to enjoy them all!
It’s completely free to enjoy! The Festival of Christmas and is suitable for all ages.

Spark! The parading drummers with kaleidoscopic lighting

Cathedral Ruins
Christmas Show - Festive comedy show, mesmerising aerialist and story time with Santa

Millennium Place
Fire and Ice show - Fire dancing, LED hooping, live festive ice sculpting show and stunning pyrotechnics

Upper Precinct
Festive Elves - Look out for either the bouncing elves or the mischievous elves
They will be travelling in pairs from 4.15pm - 5.30pm, 5.45pm - 7pm and 7.15pm - 8.30pm
Precinct Cross
Living Lampposts – A marvellous display of light and colour
Performing at 4pm, 6pm and 7:45pm
Time Machines – Victorian time traveller characters with many stories to tell

Speakers Corner
Snow Globe - A magical snow globe full of unique special effects
