Holocaust Memorial Day is observed across the UK, and encourages remembrance of those who have lost their lives through systematic, targeted persecution and genocides.
This year's event will take place on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Bergen Belsen. The event will focus on the theme of ‘For a Better Future’.

Students from the University of Warwick and Cardinal Newman Catholic School are invited to discuss the importance of learning about the Holocaust as well as personal experiences of fleeing conflict.
Time Will Tell Theatre will perform 'A Hell on Earth', with first-hand accounts of the British Army when they arrived at the gates of Bergen-Belsen in 1945.
