The Coventry Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) recently attended the launch event of CollaborACTION.
Coventry CollaborACTION is an initiative funded by the University of Warwick that focuses on involving local communities in research for policy change. It brings together researchers, policymakers, third-sector organisations, local creatives, and residents to discuss how creative methods can influence decision-making. The policies aim to improve health and well-being for local communities.
The event launch was phase one, which involved bringing different people together to network and build relationships. These early discussions are the starting point for phase two, which focuses on organising project events and workshops and continuing to work with local creatives and artists.
Coventry HDRC Team are pleased to participate in CollaborACTION and looks forward to sharing updates as it progresses.
