Coventry is known for its diverse energy, its amazing history, and stylish new attractions. The city has come a long way over the last few years, fast becoming the most inclusive and exciting place to visit and work.
Based in the heart of the country, we have so much to offer our dedicated staff, with excellent commuting links to London and all parts of the UK by road, rail, and air. The city’s streets are full of choices for places to eat and drink with colleagues and friends after a hard day at work. You and your team can build bonds by heading towards the Cathedral Quarter, city centre or FarGo Village. You could sit in the sunshine in Broadgate or watch your favourite band at the CBS Arena.
With all of this to look forward to and plenty more, why not make Coventry work for you?
The One Coventry Plan sets out our vision for the city in the years ahead.
It shows how we will work, with partners, organisations, and residents to create a city where everyone contributes to our shared goal of achieving a safe, equal, diverse, creative, and active community. We are working with our many varied communities to create a new vision for Coventry. Together we want to make Coventry an even better city – a place where everyone has the chance to succeed, where nobody gets left behind, and where everybody has a voice. We strongly believe that through addressing disadvantage, we can contribute to ensuring residents live happily and healthily, with better outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
Over the last few years, we have been working hard to ‘shift the balance’ of our services to ensure we intervene early and prevent needs escalating – to enable us to focus our resources on those who really need them, while also trying to prevent complex issues from happening in the first place. Many residents are held back by problems and challenges that have been around for too long. We need to continue to innovate to respond to these long-standing problems, focusing on tackling the root causes.
