Accessible transport
Buses
Friargate is served by accessible low floor buses, which stop at the Station Interchange nearby. Ask the driver if you need to lower the step or to use the access ramp to get on or off. The dedicated wheelchair space is normally located on the right hand side of the bus. There are also four priority seats for disabled people, which are generally located in the first row of seating, These seats have extra legroom and space underneath for an assistance dog.
Trains
Coventry Station offers step free access to all platforms and wheelchair spaces are provided on trains. Please speak to station staff if you require a ramp between the platform and the train.
If you are using an unstaffed station you will need to let the conductor on the train know you need a ramp. Check if your station is accessible.
If you need assistance to help you make your train journey you can request this, at least 24 hours in advance if possible.
