If you exhibit, use or train performing animals in Coventry you must apply for a Keeping or Training Animals for Exhibition Licence with the Council under the provisions of The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals)(England) Regulations 2018.
Performing animals do not include invertebrates (animals with either exterior skeletons (insects) or no skeletons (jellyfish etc.)). Applications must include details about the animals they wish to include and the performances they are to take part in.
Apply to register for the exhibition or training of animals
A person making an application must not have been given a court order preventing them from training or exhibiting a wild animal or from holding a registration.

Do I need to wait for written permission?
No, if no one objects to the application. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from the Council after 30 days.
