The completed application form [/downloads/download/2192/sexual%20entertainment%20venue] can be submitted electronically by attaching the completed form and any associated supporting documents to the Licensing team email address.
Please note that electronic applications submitted by email can only be accepted if there is a scanned signature on the application form. On receipt of your application by email a Licensing Officer will contact the applicant to acquire payment of the appropriate fee via a debit or credit card.

Licence renewal
Fee: £1,555
Variation to licence
Fee: £1,555
A variation may include a change of the details on the licence, i.e. operating hours, conditions etc, change of external appearance, new advertising material and structural changes.
Transfers of licence
Fee: £1,510
The authority may transfer a licence to any other person on the application of that other person. The statutory requirements for advertising, giving notice, consideration by the licensing authority, hearings and the giving of reasons are the same as those applying to initial grants.

Notices and certifications
Applicants for a sex establishment licence must give public notice of the application by publishing an advertisement in a local newspaper that is circulated in the local authority area no later than 7 days after the date the application is made.
Where the application relates to premises, a notice should also be displayed on or near the premises in a place where it can be conveniently read by members of the public. The notice should be displayed for a period of 21 days beginning with the date the application was made.
Most sexual entertainment venues will also require a Premises Licence [/info/860/licence-alcohol_and_entertainment/416/licence-alcohol_and_entertainment] or Club Premises Certificate [/info/646/licence-private_clubs/630/licence-private_clubs] granted under the Licensing Act 2003 in order to sell / supply alcohol, provide regulated entertainment, and provide late night refreshment.
