The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGCBE) has been reviewing Coventry to make sure that the current electoral system works best for the city.

Today (14 May) LGBCE have published their final recommendations for Coventry.

The recommendations contain no changes to the number of Cllrs and wards, but a number of ward boundaries and names are set to change

You can see those changes on the LGBCE website at https://www.lgbce.org.uk/all-reviews/coventry .The page has an interactive map which will allow you to see the changes at street level.

These recommendations will now be scrutinised by Parliament. If approved they will come into play at the local election in May 2026.
