The Bands in the Park series of events is underway with performances taking place over the coming weeks.
The series moves around Coventry visiting many parks from June – September so residents can enjoy a relaxing, musical experience in the city’s green spaces. All events are free to attend and suitable for the whole family.
These free mini concerts always cover a wide variety of musical styles and bands. They aim to entertain residents whether they stay for the whole concert or soak up the atmosphere whilst walking through the park.
Andrew Walster, Director of City Services at Coventry City Council, expressed his excitement about the return of the popular mini concerts. He said, "It's always a pleasure to bring back these brilliant events, allowing people to enjoy the fresh air and fantastic music.
"Bands in the Park marks the arrival of summer, and there's no better way to spend an afternoon than in one of our beautiful parks enjoying the wonderful entertainment.
"I hope everyone takes advantage of these free events and continues to enjoy our city's beautiful parks."
