Disabled parking bay eligibility
For road safety reasons, it may not be possible to install a parking bay outside a person's home, so a site visit is always carried out.
There are also other conditions that must be met. These are:
- You must be a Blue Badge holder (at the property where the bay is being requested)
- You must have a vehicle registered at the property (where the bay is being requested)
- You have no off-street parking facilities such as a garage, driveway or rear parking
- You must confirm that the Blue Badge holder is unable to walk more than 50 metres unaided
