Cleaner
Cleaners perform a range of duties to keep our schools clean, safe and healthy, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming. They're also responsible for performing routine inspections to check that spaces like restrooms are always sanitary.
Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant
A lunchtime supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and orderly conduct of students during the lunchtime period. Their role is crucial in maintaining a positive and secure environment for students as they have their meals and engage in recreational activities.
Apprentice Teaching Assistant
A teaching Assistant apprentice is a role that involves providing support to teachers and students in a classroom setting. This position is typically part of an apprenticeship program and a career pathway where individuals learn and develop their skills while working alongside experienced educators. Throughout the apprenticeship program, individuals will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced educators. They will gradually take on more responsibilities as their skills and confidence grow. Teaching Assistants
Teaching assistants (sometimes known as learning support assistants in secondary schools) help teachers by supervising activities and working with children on an individual, small-group or whole-class basis providing support and assistance to help them better understand the content and complete work.
1:1 Learning Assistants
Learning assistants work under the direct supervision of a teacher to provide support for teaching and learning for those who have special, physical, emotional, and educational needs. They support, supervise and deliver the teaching activities of individuals or groups of children and young people to ensure their safety and facilitate in their physical development with a particular focus.
Family Support Worker
A Family Support Worker is a professional who provides assistance and guidance to families facing various challenges and difficulties. Their primary goal is to improve the overall well-being of families and help them overcome obstacles that may be affecting their daily lives. Family Support Workers work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENDCo to identify and address the needs of children who need help and support to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside school in order to achieve their full potential.
