Electric Vehicle charging
The electric vehicle charging programme aims to identify the number of electric vehicle charge points required to meet future demand for cars and vans and identify how this target will be reached. Coventry already has the largest number of EV chargers outside London but we have ambitions to grow this further through this programme.
The Strategic Energy Partnership is developing opportunities to increase the number of off-street and on-street chargers and the potential for charging hubs - we are currently developing a pilot community charging project using central government funding.
