Pregnancy Loss and the Workplace with The Vilomah Foundation

1-hour webinar during Baby Loss Awareness Week, and honoured to be joined by Catherine MacLennan from The Vilomah Foundation who will be running this introductory session covering themes such as:
- how pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss impacts performance, absence, retention and morale
- good practice around returning to work following a pregnancy loss
- good practice around supporting employees who are pregnant after loss
- how to communicate effectively and compassionately with someone who has experienced pregnancy loss
- the importance of creating a supportive workplace for all employees
This session will include a 45-minute presentation and a 15-minute Q & A section.

Menopause in the Workplace with Henpicked

As we prepare to mark World Menopause Day, this 30-minute session will provide an introduction to Menopause Awareness within the workplace. We're thrilled to share that Julie Glyn-Jones from Henpicked Menopause in the Workplace will return to run this short session on:
- Why we all need to talk about menopause at work
- Some practical suggestions in how to put the right support in place
- How can becoming a Menopause Friendly Employer save you money

Make a Difference: The Impact of Employee Volunteering with Re-engage

In this 30-minute session Re-engage will introduce the loneliness crisis, explain the impact of volunteering, and share an opportunity for your organisation to volunteer over the festive season to help spread joy to an older person and reduce loneliness with just a few phone calls.

Re-engage is a charity dedicated to combatting loneliness, their Christmas Call Companion service offers an accessible way to engage with volunteering and to bring companionship to older people.
Christmas can be a lonely time for many older people. Over 900,000 older people spend Christmas Day alone, and 1.6 million say it's the hardest day of the year. By becoming a Christmas Call Companion, you’ll offer vital support to older people who would otherwise face the festive period alone. Re-engage are working to ensure no older person feels forgotten this Christmas.
