Migration Team

As an integral part of Coventry City Council, the Migration Team has over a decade of expertise in facilitating refugee integration, supporting individuals and their families to restart their new lives in the city. The team seeks to empower refugees to become independent so that they and their families can contribute to the economic prosperity of the city and become active members of the community.  We work closely with employers to offer tailored guidance and support to facilitate refugees into the workforce, identifying the right candidates to ensure a mutually beneficial transition for both employees and employers.

Social Value

Coventry City Council recognises the potential and impact of embedding Social Value in our procurement processes and contracts with third parties, as well as in our work with partner organisations and communities. Our vision is to ensure that Coventry as a city embeds the social value ethos, to consider activities holistically, taking account of the wider economic, social and environmental effects. This will enable us to challenge inequalities and promote inclusion, deliver sustainability, support the local economy and work with the local community.
