Feeding Coventry - Gardening & Cooking - Holiday activities and food

These sessions will provide an opportunity for a hands-on and enjoyable cooking experience for families to come together and create delicious meals. Families will also be provided with the ingredients to create the recipe again at home.

Activities are for children aged 5 years old to 16 years old.

• Thu 15 Aug (9:30 AM - 2:30 PM)

This club is free for HAF-eligible children with a HAF code

Book 1 session at a time, each session is 1 credit

Breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit is provided on arrival. We offer a sit down family meal. This will be an opportunity for families to share a meal together and enjoy freshly cooked tasty food. For Trips - Either a hot meal or a packed lunch will be provided for all children dependant on the trip

All of our activities are suitable for children with additional needs. The club providers are experienced in supporting children who have additional needs. We ensure we have staff and volunteer provision to support children on an individual basis and cater to their needs so that they can enjoy the programme. All children with additional needs should be accompanied by a parent or carer regardless of age.

Please send your child with a named water bottle, we will provide additional drinks if needed. How your child should dress will depend on the activity they are booked in for, however we do recommend that children wear loose, comfortable clothing. Please check the activity timetable and ensure your child does not come in their best clothes. The cooking and gardening sessions may get messy and appropriate footwear will be needed for sporting activities. If you are unsure please ask a member of staff. Please make sure you are prepared for all weather types. A waterproof coat, appropriate footwear, sun hat and sun cream should be applied prior to the session (weather dependent).
