HCCA - Pottery - Holiday activities and food

Get your hands dirty "throwing" a pot, make your design and decorate your creation before it’s fired in the kiln and then it’s yours to keep forever.

Activities are for children aged 8 years old to 16 years old.

This club is free for HAF-eligible children with a HAF code

Book 1 session at a time, each session is 1 credit

Chicken (or veg alternative) wraps with Humous, and crudité peppers, carrots and cucumber with a side salad of lettuce, tomato, and green leaves. Dessert will be a fruit cocktail consisting of seasonal fruits such as apples, grapes, kiwis, oranges, plums, strawberries andpeaches. Strawberry and a banana milkshake using low fat milk and fresh fruit. Water will be available as a drink and seasonal fruit will be available to snack on during the activities

Staff have been trained in handling challenging behaviour. The lead has a history of over 20 years working with children and young people, many of whom had SEND needs. the centre is fully accessible, with a room where those who need a quiet space or want to remove themselves from the activity for a break can access with staff on hand to support them. The activity is fully adaptable enabling the children to do what they wish, and nobody will be forced to do anything that they don't want to do, although staff will be on hand to encourage participation
