Blithfield Safety Training

Blithfield have been delivering First Aid training in the early years and education childcare sector since 2003. We are a member of the First Aid Industry Body that is responsible for the monitoring and regulation of First Aid training providers. All our First Aid courses meet Ofsted/Early Years Foundation Stage requirements and are delivered by qualified and experienced trainers with a comprehensive understanding of the Early Years and Education sectors.

Blithfield Safety has always kept to its principles of delivering first-class First Aid training in a unique way, as the company believe the training should meet the required learning requirements, but also ensure that the training is interesting, enjoyable, and centred around the needs of the individual delegate. We believe that everyone learns in a different way and First Aid training is not a ‘one size fits all’ experience. Our courses are delivered by experienced and qualified trainers that receive continued professional development and we pride ourselves that we continue to receive outstanding reviews every term.

Lisa Gadbsy

Lisa has over 30 years’ experience of working in early years across a range of sectors and services and has been delivering training for over 15 years and enjoys learning as much from practitioners as the training sessions she delivers.

Lisa’s passion is for the freedom of learning, the powerful role of adults in the early year’s journeys of children and for learning environments that enthuse, invite and excite

The training Lisa delivers is interactive and participative, but avoids role play at all costs! Lisa aims to share great practice and ensure that you have time to reflect on your current practice and consider where you would like to be, either as an individual or an organisation and how you plan to get there.

Inspired Children Ltd

Ben Kingston-Hughes, the director of Inspired Children Ltd, has over 30 years’ experience working with children in a variety of different settings. He is the winner of the 2019 National Play Work Awards Training Award and a finalist for the Nursery World Trainer of the Year in 2020. He has spoken at National, Regional and International Conferences including Nursery World and the International Play Association.

Inspired Children Training is unlike any other training available. Regardless of whether online or face-to-face sessions are entertaining and thought provoking with no “death by PowerPoint” or pointless filler sections. Each course is taught by the person who wrote that course and each trainer has extensive experience working with children. There are other good training companies out there but few, if any, can provide the rewarding training experience and inspirational delivery that are the cornerstones of every session delivered by Inspired Children.

The Early Years Company

First founded in February 2020, The Early Years Company is built on the bold mission to elevate nursery managers into incredible leaders, after our visionary founder, Kelly Hill, identified a gap in leadership skills in the sector.
Core values:

  • Kindness
  • Unity
  • Innovation
  • Focus

These have been our guiding principles in every decision we make.

We deliver much more than coaching and training; we boost leaders’ confidence, improve children’s long-term outcomes through strengthening early years practices; upskilling and enriching the knowledge of early years professionals. We positively impact the next generation through our training and coaching, supporting and empowering leaders across the early years sector. By working closely with you, we get to know your ethos and values, creating bespoke support that makes a huge impact.

The Early Years Alliance

The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England.
A registered educational charity, we represent 14,000 members and support them to deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year.

  • We offer information and advice.
  • We produce specialist publications.
  • We run acclaimed training schemes.
  • We campaign to influence early years policy and practice.

Our vision is a society where every child enjoys the opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policymaking and empowered to become fully involved with their child's learning and development.
Our mission is to support early years providers to deliver high quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life.
