Reporting an empty property
Empty homes affect an area and prevent valuable housing being made available to the people of Coventry.
If you know of an empty home or own one, you can report the empty property online.
When reporting an empty home please have the following details ready:
- Number and street of the property
- Your name and contact details
- The name and contact details of the owner if you know them
- How long you believe the property has been empty for
- Any problems associated with the property
These details will help us to identify properties that we may be able to bring back into use.
Reporting pests in empty homes
If you suspect an overgrown garden at an empty property is harbouring rats or vermin, please contact Pest Control for advice, a quote, or to book an appointment.
The treatment of rats, cockroaches, and bed bugs is free of charge for domestic properties. The treatment of other pests and vermin could be chargeable.
