  • Supporting the development of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Supporting the consultation process through health and safety committees
  • Audit of health and safety management systems and compliance with legislation
  • Supporting the development of health and safety action plans

  • Supporting with risk assessments and control measures
  • Analysing and advising on incident and accidents reporting
  • Supporting with reporting RIDDOR reportable accidents/incidents to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
  • Liaising with stake holders to ensure systems are joined up
  • Advising on specific risks such as asbestos and legionella
  • Specialist technical advice/support during major refurbishment/building work, meeting the requirements of the CDM Regulations
  • Liaison with the HSE, Police, Fire Service, insurance services and other agencies, in accident reduction initiatives
  • Support with emergency planning and fire safety
  • Assessment of first aid provision
