Changes to a death certificate
If you notice a mistake on the death certificate, please let us know, this can usually be corrected by means of a marginal note on the bottom of the death certificate.
Fees for consideration of a correction
- £83.00 to your local register office for consideration
- £99.00 if the documents need to be sent to the Registrar General for consideration
