93424: Assistant Operations Manager

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000
Hours: Full time (Temporary until 31 August 2025)

  • A C1/C2 proficiency in English is a must and ability to speak other languages is desirable.  
  • A bachelor’s degree in any subject areas, preferably in education.
  • A minimum 2 years of experience working with children or teenagers aged between 8 to 17 years old and a minimum 2 years of experience working in language school operations, particularly summer operations. 
  • Supporting and coordinating logistics for summer centres including airport transfers, activities and excursions, accommodation and facilities plus recruiting homestay families.
  • Designing standard and customised programmes for the clients (both year-round groups and summer groups).
  • Designing, developing and reviewing the effective procedures for the management of the summer schools, adhering to British Council/ English UK regulations and Health and Safety Law.
  • Administrative Tasks: Daily communications with the educational travel agencies abroad about their queries about each summer centre, discuss and quote for the special requests, programmes and services they require.

  • Access to reliable transportation is required as this role requires travel to the Head Office in Wolston.
  • To be responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of income, expenditure and assisting in producing finance reports.
  • Administer the sales ledgers, working with other departments and managers, to raise timely invoices and credit notes. 
  • Maintain strong working relationships with debtors to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
  • Administer the purchase ledgers, supporting other departments and managers, ensuring accurate accounting of invoices/other expenses.
  • Oversee purchase order process.

93288: Finance & Compliance Manager

Salary: £34,000 to £38,000

  • Access to reliable transportation is required as this role requires travel to the Head Office in Wolston.
  • To support the Director of Finance & Corporate Resources as part of the small but experienced corporate resources team.
  • The role will entail working with the wider team on financial accounts and all aspects of contractual and regulatory compliance. 
  • Experience of all aspects of financial management including management accounts, statutory accounts, cashflow, reporting and compliance.
  • Experience of working with budget holders to produce annual budget and forecasts.
  • Experience of statutory reporting, contract compliance, annual accounts (VAT, Pension, PAYE etc.) in charity or public sector organization.

  • Based in a Beds and Furniture show room you will be able to answer customer calls and greet customers face to face and offering excellent customer service this will also have an element of administration. 
  • Based in a show room you will also be dealing with customers face to face as well as on the phone, so excellent communication skills are required and administration duties will also be involved.

  • Retrofit Coordination Manager to own the and drive the retrofit coordination team and take ownership from inception to completion of all projects that are required to comply with PAS 2035. 
  • Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management, this is an essential requirement for PAS 2035 compliance.
  • Management experience and Project management experience advantageous. 
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and workers.
  • Experience acting as an advocate and technical advisor on projects.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments in the built environment sector.

Salary: £30,900 per annum (£13,362.16 pro rata)

Vacancy details: 

  • An organised individual with experience in event delivery, engagement, and administration to join the team.
  • In this role for the REN, you will work across the Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care System (ICS).
