76417: Community Outreach Officer 

Salary: £28,964 per annum 
Hours: Full time 
Location: Coventry - Hybrid/office/outreach

Vacancy details: 

  • Desirable qualifications: Level 3 in Energy Awareness (although full training will be given) Training and support will be provided to you including opportunities to attend short training courses and potentially gain qualifications as needed.  
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Experience of working with vulnerable households within their homes 
  • An eye for detail with excellent numerical skills
  • Flexibility – being able to respond positively to changes in work at short notice and to set deadlines. 
  • As part of our existing outreach worker team, you’ll be working with the public and creating links with partner agencies to tackle the impact of fuel poverty.
  • To engage with professional health workers such as GP practices and health visitors; community based social prescribers and health and social care organisations.
  • Providing training and presentations to key partners to understand the links between health & cold homes

  • Driving license and access to a car is required as you’ll spend time in outreach and Coventry & Birmingham office.
  • Must have experience working with vulnerable people – Ideal candidates would be anyone from the health care sector, social workers, support workers.
